Our client, a well-established equipment dealership serving construction, agriculture, and industrial markets, is seeking a Parts Manager to lead its parts operations in Southwest Florida. This role will oversee a small team and play a key part in supporting both internal service operations and external customers in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can effectively delegate, develop their team, and ensure parts availability to keep equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily parts department operations, including inventory, ordering, and customer support
  • Lead and develop a team of direct and indirect reports, providing coaching and accountability
  • Delegate tasks effectively while fostering team growth and performance
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure timely parts availability for repairs and maintenance
  • Manage inventory levels, stock orders, returns, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor department performance, including sales, margins, and inventory turns
  • Assist with parts lookup, order processing, and customer inquiries as needed
  • Maintain accurate records within inventory and business systems
  • Support a fast-paced environment by multitasking and prioritizing effectively
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Parts Manager within heavy equipment, construction, or agriculture industries
  • Strong knowledge of parts inventory management and vendor coordination
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working closely with service departments
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office
