A well-established heavy-duty truck dealership is seeking a Parts Manager to lead its parts department and drive operational performance at one of their locations in West Virginia. This role is responsible for ensuring profitability, inventory accuracy, and high levels of customer satisfaction while leading and developing a parts team.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who can balance day-to-day operations with strategic planning in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily parts department operations, including inventory management, ordering, and customer service
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Lead, train, and manage parts department staff, ensuring strong performance and accountability
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support service operations, wholesale accounts, and retail customers
  • Monitor and improve department processes, layout, and overall efficiency
  • Support and drive parts sales through counter and outside sales efforts
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with service and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy-duty truck or related parts operations required
  • Prior leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of parts inventory control, purchasing, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management tools
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver’s license required
