Our client, is a construction equipment company and they are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support and grow their customer base in the Northeast region. This is a strong opportunity for a driven, relationship-oriented sales professional looking to build their career in the heavy equipment industry.

The ideal candidate will bring local ties or familiarity with the area and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position is based out of Massachusetts and does not require overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory, focusing on both equipment rentals and used equipment sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, site managers, and other equipment buyers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales through proactive outreach and customer visits.
  • Represent the company and product line with professionalism and industry knowledge.
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts to increase brand visibility and market share.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and activity in the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of outside sales or territory management experience, preferably in construction equipment or a related industry.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with construction equipment preferred.
