An established equipment dealer in the Western U.S. is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to support the continued growth of their construction equipment division in Nevada.

This position is responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving new business development, and delivering tailored equipment solutions to clients in the field. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service and a background in equipment sales or a related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities through regular customer visits and cold calling efforts.
  • Prepare and present equipment proposals and pricing solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of customer accounts and owned equipment.
  • Provide support to customers by offering product recommendations and basic financial guidance.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on quotes and proposals to secure business and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and follow-through on equipment delivery.
  • Provide monthly summaries of account activity and maintain regular communication with leadership.
  • Manage sales-related expenses in line with company policies.
  • Support team initiatives and assist the Sales Manager as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in construction equipment or similar industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the assigned territory and interact with customers in person.
