Position Details & Responsibilities

A global manufacturer of equipment attachments is seeking a Territory Manager to support customers across a multi-state western territory. This role can be based in the Sacramento, California area or Denver, Colorado area.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling heavy equipment, attachments, or related equipment solutions and enjoy managing a large territory with significant customer interaction and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned multi-state western territory
  • Promote specialized equipment attachments across multiple industries
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations, customer visits, and field training sessions
  • Identify new dealer opportunities and support the growth of existing dealer partners
  • Develop territory sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth
  • Work closely with customers to recommend equipment solutions based on application and jobsite needs
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure strong customer support
  • Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and territory reporting
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and industry functions throughout the region
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the territory

Qualifications

 

  • Prior outside sales experience within heavy equipment, attachments, construction equipment, or related industries required
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills
  • Ability to manage a large territory independently and effectively
  • Experience conducting equipment demonstrations and customer presentations preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and territory management abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable with frequent travel throughout a multi-state territory
  • CRM proficiency and general computer skills required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
