Position Details & Responsibilities
A well-established equipment dealership serving the construction industry is seeking a Service Manager to lead service operations in the Oklahoma City area.
The Service Manager will play a key role in driving technician productivity, warranty compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction, while partnering closely with parts, sales, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day service department operations, including shop and field service
- Develop, implement, and enforce service processes to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times
- Oversee technician scheduling, dispatching, and workload planning
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders, billing, and warranty submissions
- Monitor service department performance metrics, labor efficiency, and profitability
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop service technicians and support staff
- Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization within the service department
- Act as a primary point of contact for escalated customer service or technical issues
- Collaborate with parts and sales teams to support customer needs and equipment uptime
- Maintain departmental tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a service department leadership role, preferably within equipment, underground construction, or a related industry
- Strong technical understanding of equipment service, diagnostics, and repair processes
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop service teams
- Working knowledge of service department financials, including labor efficiency and warranty processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership business systems
- Ability to analyze reports and translate data into operational improvements
