Position Details & Responsibilities

A growing equipment organization in the agriculture and construction equipment industry is seeking a Product Support General Manager to oversee parts, service, and product support operations across multiple branch locations in the Southeast. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving operational performance, improving customer support, and strengthening profitability across the organization’s product support departments.

This position is based in Southern Georgia and will play a key role in supporting multiple locations and improving consistency across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within the agriculture and/or construction equipment industry, along with a proven background overseeing multi-location product support operations.

Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee parts and service operations across multiple branch locations
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for product support departments
  • Develop and manage annual KPI programs for operational and department leadership
  • Partner with corporate leadership to drive parts and service profitability
  • Monitor branch performance related to inventory, service operations, warranty processing, and customer support
  • Support operational improvements across recently acquired and developing branch locations
  • Work closely with sales leadership to identify and drive product support sales opportunities
  • Assist branch leadership with process improvements, operational consistency, and customer communication standards
  • Develop and manage annual expense budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational policies
  • Support training, development, and performance management initiatives across branch teams
  • Participate in regional industry events and maintain strong relationships within the market
  • Coordinate with operations managers to improve service turnaround times and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels, parts turns, and overall product support efficiency across locations

Qualifications

 

  • Previous leadership experience within the agriculture and/or construction equipment industry
  • Strong background in parts, service, and product support operations
  • Experience overseeing multiple branch locations preferred
  • Proven ability to improve operational performance and profitability
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and KPI development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, operational transitions, or underperforming locations is a plus
  • Ability to travel regularly between branch locations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on industry experience
