Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client, a respected and growing heavy equipment dealership, is seeking an experienced Equipment Sales Representative to join their outside sales team in Southeast Texas. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience selling equipment and possess strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for equipment sales.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by providing equipment recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits, presentations, and equipment demonstrations.
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting and quoting to closing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—parts, service, and finance—to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Track sales activities, quotes, and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Stay informed on market trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience in the equipment/industrial industry is required.
  • Proven success in building customer relationships and closing deals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
