Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client, a well-established agricultural equipment dealership, is seeking an Ag Sales Representative to join their growing team in South Dakota.

This role is responsible for driving equipment sales, managing customer relationships, and growing market share within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell new and used agricultural equipment and related products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct the full sales process including demonstrations, trade appraisals, quoting, and closing deals.
  • Promote parts and service offerings to support customer needs.
  • Accurately maintain customer and sales activity information in the CRM system.
  • Forecast annual sales and manage territory goals.
  • Participate in trade shows, trainings, and certification programs as needed.
  • Collaborate with parts and service teams to provide excellent customer support.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience (agriculture or equipment sales preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to close sales and work independently.
  • Basic understanding of equipment financing and trade evaluations
