Our client, a respected heavy equipment dealership, is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to oversee sales across the state of Washington. This is a field-based position ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving sales growth.
The ideal candidate will be based in Washington and comfortable with extensive regional travel. This position offers a strong existing customer base and significant opportunity for growth within an established territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand customer relationships across Washington, focusing on the construction and heavy equipment sectors.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities to increase territory revenue.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical support and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales activity logs, CRM updates, and territory performance reports.
- Work independently to plan territory coverage, schedule appointments, and follow up on leads.

Qualifications
- Proven outside sales experience required; experience in heavy construction, equipment, or related industries preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both field and office professionals.
- Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking platforms.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new products and software systems.
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel extensively throughout Washington.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
