Position Details & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Parts Director to lead and grow the parts organization for a leading equipment dealership. This role can be based out of the following areas:
- Portland, Oregon
- Salt Lake City, Utah
- Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas
- Northwest Washington
The Parts Director will be responsible for building and managing a structured team, driving revenue growth, improving efficiency, and developing new sales channels. This leader will oversee parts operations, P&L, and strategy, working closely with branch managers and department supervisors to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and organize the parts department across multiple locations, aligning staff under defined teams (e.g., refuse, environmental, forestry).
- Manage and develop supervisors and teams to ensure efficient operations and strong customer service.
- Drive revenue growth through traditional sales, rentals, service support, and e-commerce channels.
- Oversee P&L for the parts division, ensuring financial performance and profitability.
- Support strategic initiatives, including doubling the rental fleet and expanding parts capabilities.
- Partner with leadership on business planning, forecasting, and execution of growth strategies.
- Develop metrics and reporting to monitor performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in parts, aftermarket, or service operations, with proven P&L responsibility.
- Background in heavy equipment, heavy truck, auto parts, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and implement strategic initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and a track record of driving growth.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
