Herk and Associates has been retained by a Construction equipment company to hire an experienced Chief Estimator. This role will oversee and manage the preconstruction process for all estimating related activity, as well as management of all estimating personnel, and the continual development of preconstruction procedures/processes.

Experience with paving/grading/asphalt requred

Responsibilities

participate in business development efforts and build subcontractor/supplier database and relationships and bid solicitation.

evaluate, hire, manage and train estimating staff

manage budget development/submission

manage accurate cost evaluation
