A growing technology solutions provider is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to develop and grow long-term partnerships with leading equipment manufacturers based in Georgia.

This is a consultative, relationship-driven role focused on becoming a trusted technology partner to strategic OEM customers. The Strategic Account Manager will work across Engineering, Product Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and executive leadership to identify opportunities for automation hardware, machine controls, and engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic OEM accounts, including multi-year account and growth strategies.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's equipment platforms, product roadmaps, engineering priorities, and future technology needs.
  • Identify new opportunities across additional machine platforms, business units, and applications.
  • Lead technical and strategic discussions surrounding machine automation, electronics, controls, connectivity, and hardware solutions.
  • Manage RFQs, pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, long-term agreements, and business reviews.
  • Coordinate internal Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations resources to support customer initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed account plans, stakeholder maps, opportunities, forecasts, and next steps within the CRM.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, engineering reviews, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience selling to OEMs within the off-highway equipment industry.
  • Proven success managing complex, long-term strategic or technical accounts.
  • Experience working directly with OEM engineering and product development organizations.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as sensors, controllers, HMIs/displays, CAN systems, machine controls, laser guidance, or mobile automation.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, account planning, and relationship-development skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, purchasing professionals, product leaders, and executives.
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management skills.
  • Strategic, technically minded, organized, and comfortable developing relationships over longer sales cycles.
