A leading construction equipment dealership is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its operations in South-Central Montana. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch performance, including sales, service, parts, financial results, customer satisfaction, and employee development.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with experience managing an equipment dealership or similar operation. This individual will drive branch growth, develop a high-performing team, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure the branch operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the branch, including sales, service, parts, and administrative functions
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and grow market share within the assigned region
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop branch employees while fostering a positive, customer-focused team culture
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operational performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities for business growth
  • Manage branch budgets, financial performance, inventory, and company assets to achieve operational and profitability goals
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer programs
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and other branch locations to support company initiatives and best practices
  • Represent the organization within the local market through customer visits, community involvement, and industry events

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience as a Branch Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within the construction equipment, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or related industries
  • Proven success managing a branch or profit center with full P&L responsibility
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success growing sales, improving operational performance, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, expenses, inventory, and overall branch profitability
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, equipment dealership operations, or related industries preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software
  • Valid driver's license required
