A well-established heavy equipment dealership is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations at one of its Central Maine locations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch performance, including sales, service, parts, rental, financial results, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in heavy equipment operations along with proven leadership experience. This individual will be responsible for driving branch growth, coaching department managers, developing customer relationships, and ensuring the branch operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for all branch operations, including sales, service, parts, rental, and administrative functions
  • Drive revenue growth, market share, and overall branch profitability while maintaining full P&L responsibility
  • Coach, mentor, and develop department managers and sales personnel to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and identifying new business opportunities
  • Partner with the service and parts departments to ensure timely equipment support and outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Monitor branch performance through key operational and financial metrics while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct customer visits, support major sales opportunities, and represent the organization throughout the local market
  • Foster a culture centered around safety, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience within the heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial equipment, trucking, agricultural equipment, or related industries
  • Proven success managing branch operations with P&L responsibility
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing sales, service, parts, rental, or operations teams
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, improve market share, and develop customer relationships
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and financial performance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude or technical understanding of heavy equipment is preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred
