A growing equipment dealership is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customers throughout Central Georgia. This role is responsible for managing inbound sales inquiries, developing new business opportunities, preparing quotes, and helping customers find the right equipment solutions for their needs.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and motivated to build long-term relationships. Previous experience selling trailers, heavy equipment, trucks, agricultural equipment, or other industrial products is preferred, but the company is willing to train an ambitious sales professional with the right attitude and work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and walk-in customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with contractors, municipalities, construction companies, commercial fleets, equipment dealers, and other customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate equipment or trailer solution
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
  • Manage the complete sales process, including consistent follow-up and closing opportunities
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and customer records using the company's CRM system
  • Coordinate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries and outstanding customer support
  • Promote financing options, warranties, accessories, parts, and service programs to maximize customer value
  • Maintain product knowledge on equipment, trailers, specifications, and inventory availability
  • Achieve monthly sales goals while generating repeat business and customer referrals

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales, equipment sales, dealership sales, B2B sales, or related customer-facing sales experience
  • Experience within the trailer, heavy equipment, construction equipment, trucking, agricultural, automotive, RV, powersports, or industrial equipment industries preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and consistently follow up with customers
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience preparing quotes, negotiating pricing, and closing sales preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver's license required
