A growing equipment manufacturer is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive sales growth throughout Arizona.
This is a field-based outside sales role responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and expanding market share across municipalities, contractors, industrial customers, dealers, and other end users.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling heavy equipment, municipal equipment, industrial products, or related solutions. This opportunity is perfect for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys managing their own territory, conducting equipment demonstrations, and building long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established sales territory by developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships
- Prospect and call on municipalities, contractors, industrial customers, dealers, and other equipment users throughout the region
- Conduct equipment demonstrations, customer presentations, and on-site visits to showcase product capabilities
- Guide customers through the complete sales cycle, including needs analysis, proposals, quotations, negotiations, and closing
- Develop specifications and assist customers through bid and public procurement processes
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately document customer activity within the company's CRM system
- Partner with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support before and after the sale
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry meetings as needed

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience within heavy equipment, municipal equipment, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or related industries
- Proven success developing new business and managing a sales territory
- Experience working with municipalities, contractors, dealers, or industrial customers preferred
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience conducting equipment demonstrations or technical product presentations preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with public bidding or government procurement processes is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
