A leading equipment dealership organization is seeking a high-energy Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a multi-location sales organization across the Southeast. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving market share growth, improving sales performance, developing sales talent, and creating a culture of accountability and customer focus throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate sales leader with experience in the heavy equipment, construction equipment, compact equipment, rental, or related industries. This individual must be comfortable leading a large team, coaching underperforming territories, and implementing strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth.

This role will oversee multiple branch locations throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15-16 sales professionals across multiple branch locations
  • Drive market share growth throughout the region by implementing strategic sales initiatives and territory development plans
  • Establish performance expectations, accountability measures, and sales processes that support long-term growth
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales talent while addressing performance gaps as needed
  • Partner with branch leadership to improve sales execution, customer engagement, and operational alignment
  • Analyze territory performance, competitive activity, and market opportunities to identify areas for growth
  • Support key account development and maintain relationships with major customers throughout the region
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and business development efforts to ensure targets are achieved
  • Promote a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Previous Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or multi-location sales leadership experience required
  • Heavy equipment, construction equipment, compact equipment, equipment rental, agricultural equipment, or related industry experience required
  • Proven success leading, developing, and motivating large sales teams
  • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with a passion for developing people
  • Demonstrated ability to improve market share, increase sales performance, and execute growth strategies
  • Experience managing sales forecasting, pipeline development, and territory planning
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • High-energy, self-motivated leadership style with a hands-on approach to team development
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
