Our client, a respected organization in the heavy equipment rental industry, is seeking an experienced rental professional to join their team as an Outside Sales Representative in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales leader who wants to take ownership of a growing territory and play a key role in the company’s long-term expansion.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on rental experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the leadership potential to eventually grow into a Sales Manager position as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to grow rental revenue and market share.
- Identify customer needs and recommend equipment solutions that maximize productivity and value.
- Plan and execute regular sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups to ensure consistent engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and quoting to closing and ongoing account support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate orders, and exceptional customer service.
- Stay current on equipment applications, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Participate in industry events and customer outings to strengthen community and brand relationships.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of rental or construction equipment sales experience required.
- Proven success in territory or outside sales with the ability to lead future team growth.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
