Our client, a well-established organization in the industrial equipment industry, is seeking a Sales Coordinator based in Upstate New York to provide critical support to their sales team and ensure smooth operational processes throughout the sales cycle.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes - coordinating orders, managing inventory, and supporting sales activities to keep deals on track.

Candidates with accounting or purchasing experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the outside sales team.
  • Assist with quoting, order processing, and sales documentation.
  • Manage inventory levels to align with sales activity and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Support sales reporting, invoicing, and general accounting-related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in CRM and internal systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales support, inside sales, accounting, or purchasing.
  • College degree or some college education preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales cycles and order management processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and ability to manage inventory efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
