Our client, an organization in the heavy equipment and trucking industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative based in the Greater Chicago area of Illinois.

This outside sales role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels at building relationships, delivering solutions, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers throughout the assigned territory.
  • Present and demonstrate equipment solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Support customers from initial contact through delivery and the full lifecycle of the sale.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to build trusted partnerships and identify opportunities.
  • Stay informed on competitive offerings to maintain a strong market position.
  • Accurately document customer activity and forecasts in CRM.
  • Assist customers with available financing options.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Previous outside sales experience, ideally in heavy equipmentheavy trucking, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL (Class B).
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications.
  • Must reside within or near the assigned territory.
