Our client, an organization in the heavy equipment and trucking industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to manage an established territory in Central/Eastern Iowa.

This outside sales role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels at building relationships, delivering solutions, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers throughout the assigned territory.
  • Present and demonstrate equipment solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Support customers from initial contact through delivery and the full lifecycle of the sale.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to build trusted partnerships and identify opportunities.
  • Stay informed on competitive offerings to maintain a strong market position.
  • Accurately document customer activity and forecasts in CRM.
  • Assist customers with available financing options.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet requirements to obtain a CDL.

Qualifications

  • Previous outside sales experience, ideally in heavy equipment, heavy trucking, or a related industry.
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL (Class B).
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications.
  • Must reside within or near the assigned territory.
