Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client, a leading equipment dealership, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee operations at a large branch in South-Central Texas.

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team of 30+ technicians and support staff while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a large service team to deliver high-quality work.
  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, and workflow.
  • Manage department P&L, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and warranty standards.
  • Partner with sales, rental, and parts departments to support overall branch success.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of service management or supervisory experience in material handling or heavy equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
  • Strong financial skills with P&L management experience.
  • Solid technical understanding of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
