Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client, an equipment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across a multi-state territory.

Candidates can be based in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. 

This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong dealer relationships, expanding market share, and increasing sales revenue. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within an established dealer network across a defined multi-state territory.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers and end users.
  • Travel extensively throughout the territory to support dealers, attend customer meetings, product demos, and trade events.
  • Provide product knowledge, market insight, and competitive intelligence to drive sales opportunities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in onboarding new dealers as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and support.

Qualifications

  • Proven outside sales and territory management experience.
  • Experience in compact construction equipment or agriculture/implements required.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
