Our client, a leading agricultural equipment dealership, is seeking multiple Territory Sales Representatives to join their growing team across Illinois. These roles are ideal for motivated sales professionals who understand the agriculture industry and thrive on building long-term relationships with customers.

As a Territory Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory. You’ll develop strong relationships with farmers, contractors, and ag businesses - helping them find the right equipment solutions to meet their operational goals. This position offers the opportunity to represent top-quality equipment brands and make a measurable impact on your customers’ success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals within your territory.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers through regular on-site visits and consistent communication.
  • Promote and sell new, used, and rental equipment, as well as parts and service offerings.
  • Demonstrate and explain product features, benefits, and value to customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle (prospecting, quoting, closing, and follow-up) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and equipment transactions.
  • Stay informed on product advancements, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive, seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect and build trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a field-based environment.
  • Technologically proficient with basic computer and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • High school diploma required; a 2- or 4-year degree in business, marketing, or agriculture is preferred.
