We are partnering with a leading dealership to hire a Regional Sales Manager based in Illinois.

This role is responsible for leading and developing a sales team while driving revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience managing sales operations in a dealership environment (agriculture, construction, trucking, or material handling) and strong P&L management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals.
  • Recruit and train sales staff, ensuring full territory coverage and high-performance standards.
  • Work alongside sales reps through ride-alongs and coaching to improve effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities to maintain a leadership position in the region.
  • Promote value-based selling strategies, ensuring the team can present complete solutions to customers.
  • Oversee sales operations, ensuring compliance with company processes and profitable growth.
  • Manage P&L responsibility for the sales function in the region.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a dealership setting (agriculture, construction, trucking, or material handling).
  • Proven success in leading teams to achieve sales and market growth.
  • Strong P&L and financial management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
