Position Details & Responsibilities
We are working with a client seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive compact construction equipment sales in the North-Central Tennessee region.
This role focuses on growing revenue through territory management, customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and strong follow-up with leads. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage their time and workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory through customer visits and prospecting
- Promote the sale and rental of compact equipment, as well as parts and service solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and communicate equipment value to customers
- Develop business strategies to exceed sales goals and quotas
- Prepare sales orders, rental contracts, and required documentation
- Track customer interactions and maintain regular call activity to achieve targets

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction equipment or a related industry
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the local market and competition
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience considered
- Ability to work independently, with occasional overnight travel
- Physically able to handle light lifting and equipment demonstrations
