Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative in Georgia to identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, generating leads, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue growth.

You’ll connect with potential customers through inbound and outbound channels, collaborate with territory managers and dealers, and ensure a smooth handoff from lead to sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and follow up on leads from multiple sources, including events, website inquiries, and referrals
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other outreach methods
  • Communicate technical details and product information clearly to customers
  • Partner with territory managers, product specialists, and dealers to support sales efforts
  • Work with sales support to confirm orders, delivery timelines, and inventory status
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide reporting on sales activity and pipeline progress
  • Stay informed on products, services, and industry trends
  • Provide backup support to sales support staff when needed
  • Attend trade shows and demos (up to 10% travel)

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of inside sales or business development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred (Salesforce a plus)
  • Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and managing multiple opportunities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
