An established equipment dealer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales strategy, team development, and performance execution across a defined multi-location territory in South Texas.

This leadership role is responsible for driving market share growth, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving regional revenue and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership operations with a strong background in agriculture or construction equipment sales, and proven leadership capabilities in managing sales teams.

This is a full-time leadership role with competitive compensation, incentive opportunities, and benefits. The position requires regular travel within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a regional sales team focused on growing market share and customer satisfaction across agriculture, turf, and construction sectors
  • Create and execute regional sales strategies and long-term plans aligned with company objectives
  • Set and manage annual sales targets and budgets; monitor performance against KPIs
  • Coach and develop sales representatives, supporting their performance and professional growth
  • Oversee equipment inventory levels, turnover, margins, and used equipment activity
  • Monitor competitive trends and customer behavior to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with other sales leaders and department heads to share best practices and align on customer experience initiatives
  • Promote dealership loyalty by implementing customer relationship management best practices
  • Support sales team and customers with product knowledge, financing options, and sales tools

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of equipment sales experience, with a strong understanding of dealership operations and customer applications
  • Previous management experience
  • Familiarity with agriculture and construction equipment markets
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM, dealership management systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, ag technology, or a related field preferred
