Position Details & Responsibilities

Founded in 1966 in Sidney, Maine, Kramer`s Inc. is a family-owned dealership specializing in tractors, agricultural equipment, and powersports sales and service. Built on a legacy of fairness and customer care, our experienced team is committed to delivering exceptional service, from sales to support.  

We are looking for a skilled Service Technician with hands-on experience repairing diesel farm tractors, agricultural implements, skid steers, and light construction equipment. Our shop specializes in New Holland tractors ranging from 20 to 150 horsepower, as well as a variety of farm and construction machinery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and hydraulic systems in a shop and field setting.

Qualifications

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and eager to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have own set of tools

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

• Punctual and dependable

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience servicing agricultural, construction, or powersports equipment

• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems

• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents

• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and service documentation

• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus

• Certifications from major equipment manufacturers (e.g., New Holland, Arctic Cat, Stihl) are highly desirable

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Pay is based on experience and skill level
