A growing heavy equipment dealership is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Representative to support sales efforts across Southeast Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.
This role is responsible for managing relationships with customers in construction and related industries, promoting equipment sales and rentals, and driving growth within an assigned geographic area. The ideal candidate has prior sales experience in heavy equipment, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
This is a full-time, field-based position with competitive compensation, including base salary, commission, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and meet revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and industrial clients
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate new or used equipment solutions
- Promote rental services and identify opportunities to expand recurring business
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to maintain visibility and support customers
