A leading equipment rental company is seeking a driven and customer-focused Rental Territory Manager to grow rental and sales activity in a multi-county territory. Candidates should be based in Southern New Jersey. This role is responsible for developing relationships with contractors, industrial clients, and municipalities to offer tailored equipment solutions that support their project needs.

The ideal candidate has experience in equipment rentals or dealership operations, is proactive in prospecting new business, and excels at managing the entire customer lifecycle - from quoting to delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive equipment rentals and sales
  • Create and present competitive quotes based on client needs and project timelines
  • Partner with internal coordinators to ensure timely and accurate equipment delivery
  • Resolve customer issues related to rental, sales, or service in a professional manner
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events, and customer meetings
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and CRM entries within required timeframes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment rental, sales, or related customer-facing roles
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and rental operations preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, field-based role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software
