An established equipment supplier is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join its Southeast Virginia location. This role focuses on handling inbound and outbound customer interactions, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities Include:

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to engage new and existing customers
• Qualify leads, communicate product knowledge, and provide accurate quotes
• Guide customers through the order process and assist with equipment-related inquiries
• Achieve and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling
• Enter and process sales orders from both internal and external sources
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and follow-up
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Provide timely updates and information on promotions and product launches
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions and sales activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in inside sales, preferably in the equipment or industrial sectors
• Strong phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and administrative documentation
• Professionalism in customer interactions and team collaboration
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation or coatings equipment is a plus
