An established equipment dealer in the heavy equipment, aggregate, and mining industries is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee a well-developed territory in Central California.
Our client recently acquired an existing dealership - this role will inherit and manage a robust book of business, while also pursuing new opportunities in the region.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and technically knowledgeable sales professional looking to step into a stable, high-potential territory with growth support and strong internal resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while prospecting and developing new business opportunities
- Promote and sell crushing, screening, and material handling equipment and parts solutions
- Work closely with customers to understand their applications and provide equipment recommendations
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and problem-solving
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer feedback using CRM software
- Collaborate with internal teams including service and parts support to ensure timely product delivery and support
- Maintain strong product knowledge and attend industry events as needed

Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in heavy equipment, construction, or related industries (5+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of equipment applications, preferably in crushing and screening or material handling
- Self-motivated, independent, and driven to develop and grow a territory
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level and field-level customers
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model with field-based autonomy
- Travel frequently within the assigned region (approximately 70% field, 30% office/home-based)
