An industrial equipment company is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain grinders, shredders, and recycling machinery. This role requires frequent travel to customer sites to provide technical support and training.

Candidates should be based in Washington in the Tri-Cities area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on heavy equipment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and provide technical support to customers.

  • Lead equipment setup, delivery, and training at customer sites.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

  • Follow company safety policies and maintain a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, and diesel engine systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Class A CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain) with a clean driving record.
  • Ok with 75% travel to customer sites.
