Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager based in Georgia to oversee the valuation, inventory, and resale of equipment. This role focuses on maximizing sales, profit margins, and inventory turnover while ensuring accurate valuations and effective reconditioning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and used equipment values to guide inventory decisions.
  • Develop and manage multiple resale channels, including wholesale markets, auctions, trades, and online platforms.
  • Assign trade values to support new equipment sales while ensuring profitable resale.
  • Monitor and report on inventory turnover, aging equipment, and profit margins.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies for used equipment sales.
  • Develop and enforce consistent reconditioning policies for used equipment.
  • Oversee sales and finance programs for used inventory.
  • Manage and support used equipment sales staff.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of equipment sales experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, dealer business systems, and industry software.
  • Ability to analyze reports and make data-driven decisions.
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
