Our client is a manufacturer looking for an Operations Manager to lead their operations team. Candidates should be based in Georgia. The role involves team leadership, process improvement, supplier management, and capacity planning to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Building: Develop a competent, engaged, and productive workforce across different disciplines.
• Process, Quality & Safety Improvement: Implement risk assessments, training, and projects to enhance production efficiency and minimize defects.
• Supplier & Manufacturing Oversight: Ensure that component sourcing and manufacturing processes align with product quality standards.
• Capacity & Resource Planning: Align sourcing and manufacturing with customer demand while optimizing plant efficiency.
• Communication & Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and market representatives to manage risks and drive business success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience manufacturing a product from start to finish.
• Experience in supplier management, purchasing, warehouse/shipping functions, and an understanding of mechanical components.
• Experience in procurement, lean production, and project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
