A growing equipment operations company is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to join its field teams in Northern California. This role involves equipment inspection and maintenance, prescribed fire fuel treatments, and upholding safety standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy to wildland fire incidents as a single resource or as part of a team.
• Operate UAS platforms and drones while complying with FAA regulations.
• Conduct mapping, infrared, reconnaissance, and firing operations using UAS technology.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively using radio systems and follow Incident Command System (ICS) protocols.
• Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ seasons of wildland fire experience.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to commute to job sites across Northern California.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., RMTs, forklifts, skidders, graders, excavators).
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
