A leading heavy equipment distributor is seeking multiple Outside Sales Representatives to manage equipment sales and rentals. Candidates can be based in Western Washington or Northwest Oregon. This role involves developing customer relationships, identifying equipment needs, and delivering solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated territory to maximize sales and rentals of new and used heavy equipment.
  • Quote prices, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to expand market share.
  • Provide on-site equipment demonstrations, inspections, and technical support.
  • Stay current on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends through training and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and manage expenses effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in equipment sales (construction, heavy machinery, or related industries preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience in sales or equipment industries will be considered.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret industry journals, technical procedures, and business regulations.
  • Experience preparing business correspondence and delivering effective presentations.
  • Must be able to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong professional references from previous employers and colleagues.
