Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a dedicated Product Specialist in Minnesota to support customers by assisting with service and parts orders, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing expert guidance on product features and performance. This role reports to the Technical Service Manager and plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in clarifying and fulfilling parts and service order requirements.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for equipment-related issues and resolve customer concerns.
  • Serve as a product expert, understanding features, benefits, and performance characteristics of the company’s product line.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance customer call center operations and improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources to support parts and service efforts.
  • Build and implement processes to drive department growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of equipment and experience troubleshooting electrical systems, mechanical components, hydraulics, and diesel engines.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Class A CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one, along with a DOT health card, and maintain a clean driving record.
