Position Details & Responsibilities

An established equipment rental organization is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of a branch in Southeast Georgia. This individual will lead the sales, service, shop, rental, and sanitation operations while driving profitability, customer satisfaction, team development, and continued branch growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong equipment rental experience who can effectively balance operational responsibilities, sales support, and people management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations across sales, service, shop, rental, and sanitation functions
• Lead, train, and develop branch employees while maintaining strong performance and accountability
• Manage overall branch profitability, budgets, expenses, and operational performance
• Work closely with the sales team to support revenue growth, forecasting, and customer development
• Manage equipment rental inquiries, pricing, quotes, contracts, and customer negotiations
• Ensure rental equipment is properly prepared, available, and delivered on schedule
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and field service response with the service team
• Monitor fleet readiness and quickly address customer equipment breakdowns or service needs
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements, permits, regulations, and company procedures
• Promote a clean, organized, safe, and team-oriented branch environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in equipment rental or a closely related industry
• Previous branch, operations, or people management experience
• Equipment industry knowledge required; agriculture and rental equipment experience preferred
• Strong understanding of branch operations, customer service, and P&L performance
• Proven leadership, decision-making, and team development skills
• Strong sales and customer relationship abilities
• Mechanical knowledge or experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; RentalMan experience is a plus
• College degree preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work effectively across office, shop, and yard environments and travel locally as needed
