A leading heavy equipment dealership is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop its sales team in the Las Vegas market. This leadership role is responsible for driving equipment sales growth, coaching and mentoring sales professionals, expanding market share, and ensuring exceptional customer relationships throughout the territory.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience leading successful sales teams within the heavy equipment industry and possess a strong understanding of dealership operations, customer development, and strategic sales management. Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of equipment sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Drive new equipment sales growth while supporting rental, parts, service, and technology sales initiatives
  • Establish territory strategies and sales plans to increase market share and profitability
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales talent
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer engagement efforts
  • Support key account development and maintain relationships with major customers throughout the region
  • Work closely with branch leadership and operational teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Assist sales representatives with equipment demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure consistent CRM utilization, reporting, and sales process execution across the team
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

 

  • Previous Sales Manager experience within the heavy equipment industry required
  • Proven success leading, coaching, and developing outside sales teams
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment dealership operations and customer buying processes
  • Experience managing sales performance, forecasting, budgets, and territory development
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and develop strategic growth plans
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Experience with construction equipment, earthmoving equipment, roadbuilding equipment, or related heavy equipment markets preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
