A leading multi-location equipment organization is seeking a Product Support Manager in South Dakota to strengthen parts and service performance across its regional footprint.

This role partners closely with branch leadership, parts and service teams, and manufacturer representatives to drive consistency, efficiency, safety, and product support growth. The position is field-facing, highly collaborative, and focused on improving aftermarket performance through data, process, and people development.

Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly throughout the region to support parts and service operations (50%+ travel)
  • Partner with branch, operations, parts, and service leaders to improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability
  • Review KPIs and financial statements related to parts and service performance; identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Lead quarterly performance discussions with store leadership and support department goal setting
  • Promote product support growth by supporting aftermarket sales initiatives and manufacturer programs
  • Work with manufacturer representatives on warranty, goodwill, and dealer excellence initiatives
  • Support safety culture by reviewing incidents, monitoring best practices, and reinforcing compliance
  • Conduct contamination control and process reviews during branch visits
  • Assist with training, development, and classification of parts and service team members
  • Review customer feedback and survey results, partnering with branches to address gaps and improve satisfaction
  • Serve as a liaison across departments to align product support strategy with overall business objectives

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in parts and/or service operations within the equipment, construction, or related industry
  • Strong understanding of parts and service workflows, KPIs, and operational best practices
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and gross margin drivers
  • Experience supporting warranty and goodwill processes
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and work cross-functionally
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with frequent regional travel and time in branch environments
  • Proficiency with dealership systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Valid driver’s license
