A growing work truck solutions provider is seeking a Sales Director based in Tennessee to lead and scale its sales organization.

This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategy, and strengthening customer relationships across the region. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with bucket trucks, a strong understanding of vocational truck solutions, and the ability to lead a sales team in a customer-focused, solutions-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a sales team focused on whole goods, upfitting solutions, and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, fleet operators, and contractors.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new market opportunities and guide the team in pursuing strategic accounts.
  • Support complex deals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales leadership or senior sales experience within the work truck or heavy equipment industry.
  • Direct experience selling or supporting bucket trucks is required.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, grow revenue, and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of vocational truck solutions, upfitting, and customer applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, service, and parts teams.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed.
