Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional General Manager to oversee a multi-branch region in North-Central Tennessee and drive performance across operations, sales, service, and customer support.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for profitability, market share growth, and developing strong branch leadership teams while ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support multiple branch locations, providing direction to Branch Managers and regional leaders.
  • Execute regional business plans focused on revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Drive operational improvements in service efficiency, rental utilization, and inventory management.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews.
  • Coach branch leaders on financial accountability, operational discipline, and performance improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitive activity and regional market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, integrity, and employee development across all locations.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of progressive leadership experience within an equipment dealership or similar multi-location environment.
  • Proven success overseeing multiple branches with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong understanding of sales, service, rental, and customer support operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and drive consistent performance across locations.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience reviewing and managing branch-level results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and inventory systems preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
