Our client is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage business within the Birmingham, Alabama market. This is a field-based sales role focused on developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue growth within an established but expandable territory.

This position offers a strong compensation structure, including a $100K first-year guaranteed earnings plus additional commission opportunity, making it an attractive opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to grow their career in an equipment or transportation-related environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow an assigned territory through new business development and ongoing account management.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, needs assessments, and solution-based sales presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Stay informed on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.

Qualifications

  • Previous outside sales experience required; equipment, transportation, or industrial sales preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Ability to manage a territory and prioritize customer activity effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the territory.
