Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a District Sales Manager based in North Carolina to drive revenue growth and manage customer relationships across a defined Southeast territory. This is a fully remote, field-based sales role responsible for growing existing accounts, developing new business, and executing strategic sales initiatives from prospecting through close.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while spending significant time in the field with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and converting new opportunities.
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits, site walk-throughs, product demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts and budgets, providing accurate pipeline visibility.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Maintain detailed and timely records of customer activity, forecasts, and opportunities in CRM.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Uphold company quality, safety, and core values standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales or a customer-facing sales role.
  • Proven ability to manage a territory, prioritize accounts, and drive consistent results.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely with high accountability and minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail in forecasting, territory planning, and documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the territory (up to ~60%).
