Our client, a multi-location equipment dealership group, is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee branch performance and drive profitability across the Southern Alabama region. This role partners closely with branch leadership to ensure sales growth, operational consistency, and strong financial results while maintaining market share.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of sales leadership, operational oversight, and financial discipline, along with hands-on experience in the heavy equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support branch leadership teams across the region to achieve sales, rental, and profitability targets.
  • Review and analyze branch P&L performance, budgets, and forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Drive market share growth while maintaining strong margins across equipment, rentals, parts, and service.
  • Coach and develop sales teams through territory planning, goal setting, pricing support, and field ride-alongs.
  • Support equipment pricing, formal quotations, trade-in values, and government or municipal bids.
  • Oversee inventory strategy, including equipment, attachments, and rental assets.
  • Approve branch-level expenses, payables, commissions, and purchasing activity.
  • Partner with branch administrators to support month-end closeouts, leasing activity, and reporting.
  • Lead regular staff meetings and maintain alignment across sales, service, and parts teams.
  • Support hiring decisions, employee development, and performance management in coordination with department leaders.
  • Maintain strong branch culture, customer engagement, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the heavy equipment or industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of equipment sales, rentals, service, and branch operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L performance and financial reporting.
  • Background in heavy equipment service or product support strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Broad computer proficiency and comfort with reporting and operational systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
