Herk & Associates is recruiting a Parts Manager in Eastern Georgia for a manufacturer of cutting-edge vegetation control technology, machinery, and attachments. The Parts Manager will establish, build, and maintain the Parts Department for a rapidly growing OEM. Responsible for: implementing department policies and procedures, comprehensive inventory management/control, supervising parts purchasing and distribution logistics, and assisting the service & sales departments to ensure parts inventory aligns with the needs of the dealer network. This individual must be adept at anticipating and responding to the needs of a rapidly growing organization with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

This individual should be highly motivated and experienced in parts management with above average problem solving skills, sense of ethics, and adaptability.

  • 3+ Years’ experience managing parts department(s) of similar size and volume required
  • Intimate knowledge of functions & features of Forestry, Agriculture, Municipal, or similar equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of inventory management
  • Experience supervising shipping & receiving logistics 
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs and parts management software systems
  • Understanding of financial reporting principles
  • Understanding of pricing principals 
  • Working knowledge of warehousing storage systems and storage layout principles/standards
