Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk & Associates has been retained by an equipment dealer in Texas to help them identify an experienced and talented Parts Manager to add to their team. We need someone that can train and monitor the performance of the parts team, as well as maintain solid vendor relationships. This person will be managing P & L, inventory, and customer growth.

Must be a go-getter and display a sense of urgency, insight, & energy!

Qualifications

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the parts department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Must be familiar with heavy truck and construction equipment.
  • Must have strong decision making skills.
  • Reduce slow moving/obsolete inventory.
  • Train, motivate and supervise subordinates in daily tasks monitoring efficiencies.
  • Driving sales for the Parts Department .
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have experience in sourcing parts from multiple vendors.
